Forget the top shelf. Fetish photos can be found in celebrity magazines every day. Any fetishist knows that the horoscopes are not where it’s at and that they should go straight for “wardrobe malfunctions” instead. Celebrity wardrobe malfunctions take many forms:
1. Sideboob
When bikini tops and loose-fitting workout vests became streetwear, it was quickly reflected in pop videos, magazine shoots and interview appearances. An actress or singer promoting herself or her product can't do better than to expose as much of her breasts as possible without being indecent and showing a nipple.
2. Nip-slip
A “nip-slip” happens when a braless woman's nipple slips out from under a garment – partially or fully. The most notorious nip-slip occurred when Janet Jackson's exposed breast was shown on primetime television during the Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show with Justin Timberlake. The current fashion for strapless tops and dresses makes a nip-slip even more likely.
3. Upskirt
An “upskirt” is an image showing the view up a woman’s skirt either with or without her knowledge. In celebrity magazines, the term is used for famous women who, accidentally or deliberately, wear short skirts when they get out of a car. Waiting photographers are always ready for a glimpse of their underwear.
4. Going commando
In celebrity magazines, this catchphrase applies to women who provide an “upskirt” photo-opportunity knowing that they are pantyless. Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and, occasionally, Lindsay Lohan have made the style uniquely their own in the recent past.
5. Cameltoe
A cameltoe appears when the front part of a woman's tight-fitting underwear, her swimwear or clothing “wedges” in between her labia and demonstrates its outline – which can literally resemble a camel's toe.
So, the next time you're at the dentist or hairdressers, pick up the celebrity magazines in the waiting room have a look for yourself. You may find much more than you think.
