Although the economy is still in the dark, there is hope for real world-wide change after the recent US election. To match the positive global outlook, fashion is turning up the color for winter. Without the money for an entire wardrobe overhaul, it’s possible to broadcast that bright and shiny optimism with a new pair of colorful kicks. Skate sneaker expert Vans had heavy metal fan and pro skater Tony Trujillo create bold new designs. Trujillo’s TNT II Mids have a traditional feel, but come in explosive color combos like electric blue with orange. Nike offers their vintage style Court Force High trainers in leopard print, rainbow colors and glowing neon. Reminiscent of happier times when the economy boomed and George Michael was a trouble-free feather-haired singer for Wham! the retro fashion shoes will provide a colorful spring to step.
