This year marks the fourth installment of the Digital Barcelona Film Festival which showcases feature films, short films, and music videos made entirely with digital equipment. The festival aims to promote the art of digital filmmaking as a medium for everyone, where creativity and artistic talent take precedence over the need for funding – so vital to the traditional moviemaking process. Each entry shows how digital technology has changed, and will continue to alter the art of filmmaking, with numerous new techniques and styles that wouldn’t be possible without such advances.
