For those of you who go to great lengths to achieve the perfect, all-over tan, the Kiniki Tan Through swimsuit might be right up your alley. By using fabric that allows 80% of the sun’s rays to pass through, Kiniki’s high-tech collection promises to make tan lines a thing of the past.

The swimwear brand’s exclusive Transol fabric actually contains millions of microscopic holes, begging the question: is Kiniki simply selling see-through swimsuits? A glance at the tropical-inspired prints, which carry names like “Fiji” and “Hot Leopard,” confirms that the answer is “no”— apparently it’s all an optical illusion. While it may sound like you can see through the suits, you can’t, and customers need not worry about unexpected body exposure (in or out of the sea). In addition to one-pieces and bikinis for the ladies, there are plenty of suits in Kiniki’s collection for the tan-conscious man—one with a penchant for vibrant prints. If these suits sound like an end to your tanning troubles, just remember, don't forget the extra suntan lotion.
