Although they are different, Anne and Zakir share “an interest in style …and a desire to experiment and try new things, ” explains ziz. By focusing on the fashion tastes of individuals rather than following general fashion trends, Stop Stealing My Look has rapidly gained followers. As if the frequent blog postings weren’t enough, Anne and Zakir are currently developing a creative consultancy agency to provide services such as forecasting, image consultancy and branding.

Set up by 26-year-old Anne Sofie Dejgaard (“A”), and 25-year-old Zakir Maqsood (“ziz”), the Stop Stealing My Look blog is creating a buzz in the fashion world. Launched in March 2009, the fashion site “began as an avenue for us to publicly document things that inspired us and things we feel will inspire others, too,” says ziz. Their posts featuring celebrity snapshots, runway photos, magazine spreads and other inspirational images, along with brief texts, have garnered kudos from bloggers and fashion designers alike.
