It’s been a long cold winter, ladies, but now that spring has sprung it’s time to peel off the opaque tights and get those legs skirt-ready. For most that means hair removal. Shaving, sugaring, waxing — it’s all down to what suits you and your legs best.

If waxing is the way to go, finding the best place in an unfamiliar city can be tricky. “It’s a very intimate thing and you should be able to go to someone you recognize and trust,” says Pilar Martinez of Salut i Estetica Mell. Immaculada Andreu at Cyan does more complete hair removals than ever. “Once our clients discover it, they love it and don’t want to go back.” But now it would seem that the current vogue is to have something a little more interesting under your belt — so to speak. “Pubic decoration is becoming more popular all the time.” Immaculada tells us, “Our most requested design is a heart. It’s the most subtle and romantic. Girls, and boys, love to do it to give their partners a real surprise!”

There are quite a few options to choose from. Probably best to keep it simple: a lightening bolt for a dominant personality or how about a cute little bunny rabbit to celebrate spring? Go ahead and show your Catalan allegiance with a red and yellow striped rose in honor of San Jordi!
