A T-shirt brand created by Matt Olsen for the love of fixed-gears.

There should be a new phrase out there, ‘once you go fixie (fixed gear bike) you’ll never go back’. For those who have happily indulged in the tight ride a track bike modified for the streets can offer and don’t have a rooftop from which to shout it out from, these Tees are the next best thing.

Their creator, Matt Olsen, an ex-Boston bike messenger started ONE Gear Clothing and began designing these shirts in 2006 out of sheer love for fixies: “I make fixed gear T-shirts for people who are as obsessed with their fixed gear bikes as I am…if your chain line is straight like mine, you KNOW the simplicity and connected feel of riding fixed…simple… better.” The clean, modern designs come in great urban colors and lightweight, “super SOFT” cotton with funny names, such as Bike’s Got Back and witty slogans like ‘Happiness is perfect chain tension’. Made with printed clothing labels for added comfort, throw one on and get peddling.
