Everywhere you go in Barcelona, on each switchboard, light pole and university campus bulletin board, band posters seem to occupy every inch. Some creative, some not, but each has an artist behind them. Gig Posters Volume 1: Rock Show Art of the 21st Century brings together about 700 different examples of rock-show poster art. The book highlights 101 works and offers them as ready to- hang posters of bands like Wilco, Radiohead, the Shins and performers such as Andrew Bird, among others. Their website acts as a forum for artists to post their creations and show them off to the world. Right now there are more than 90,000 posters from 7,000 different designers.
