H&M and the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC) have teamed up and designed a limited edition pink satchel to fashionably fight breast cancer. The aim of this partnership is twofold: to raise awareness on prevention and detection and to help women already afflicted with the disease. Splendidly and surprisingly all money made from sales of the bags will go directly to the AECC to fight breast cancer. “For H&M it is a pleasure to have a small part in helping a cause that affects so many women in our country,” stated H&M Spain and Portugal General Manager Macu Alfaro. The pink bag, which closes with a tie replicating the international pink ribbon symbol for breast cancer awareness will be available in March. Just in time for International Women’s Day celebrated on March 6th.
