Label.m is a professional hair care brand with four ranges: Cleanse, with various shampoos; Condition, with creams and masks for your particular hair type; Create for specific problems; and Complete for finishing touches. I’ve been testing their products over the past few months for chemically treated hair. As I have some gray hairs, I get highlights done in my natural ash tone color. I chose the Treatment Shampoo and Intensive Mask because as well as caring for colored hair, they contain the “Enviroshield Complex” which shields against the sun’s UV-A rays that fade hair color.

The Treatment Shampoo has a light, liquid consistency and contains wheat and soy proteins for strengthening hair without weighing it down, keeping it clean and non-greasy for longer. The fragrance is subtle and inoffensive, with the bottle and dispenser weighing in at 300ml. After several uses, I can report that it doesn't cause any dandruff or grease.

The Intensive Mask meanwhile seems to be a genuine miracle. Applied twice a week, it leaves your hair luscious, silky and well-protected. As well as the Enviroshield Complex, it contains bran, cotton seeds, shea butter and Amazon Cupuaçu, a cocoa-like bean with a pineapple and chocolate aroma. The texture is as creamy as butter and smells heavenly; it comes in a 120ml jar.

I've found these products to be the perfect summer companion during a time when the hair is particularly punished by the sun, seawater and pool. Both the shampoo and the mask help to hydrate the hair and protect it from the sun.
