To coincide with International Book Day on 23rd April, iwith.org has launched its annual contest for digital writers. The organisation seeks to promote the growing importance of the Internet and other digital technologies as a means of transferring modern culture to the widest possible audience. If you have a book, essay, poem, cookbook, or even just random musings, so long as you can claim it as your own work and don’t rant about anything politically incorrect or offensive, iwith.org will publish you on its website. Anyone can enter, writing in any language, and if you send something before the 23rd April, 2008 you’ll be entered into the competition with a chance to win real-world publication. The most downloaded entry gets the prize. Contest aside, it’s simply a great way to encounter new writers and a whole digital world of fresh thoughts and ideas.
