Surely we can all confess to spending a bit too much – even an ‘unhealthy’ amount – of time on social networks like Facebook and Twitter, search sites like Google and photo pages such as Flickr—due to what seems like an Internet surfing snowball effect. While the time spent updating statuses, cultivating farms, plotting mafia wars, uploading pics from two years ago and even throwing celebrities at other people may seem lost, one person has found a way to make it beneficial to both the voyeur and health nut in us all.

Illustrator Patrick Moberg has come up with a clever and cute way to make this time at the keyboard a positive contribution to the ‘new year, new you’ mission for healthier living in 2010. Through hysterical drawings, Moberg suggests different exercises when surfing the Internet. Should you open a tab in Facebook, jog in place for one minute, when you go to tumblr, first do 10 pushups and for Twitter – the most challenging of them all – 25 fat burning arm circles.
