EASY RIDER (DENNIS HOPPER, 1969)

A cult classic and representation of American counterculture at the close of the 60s, this film is a trip in every sense of the word. Follow the characters as they travel through a peace, love and rock ‘n’ roll-filled America.

MY OWN PRIVATE IDAHO (GUS VAN SANT, 1991)

Two young hustlers from Portland form part of a boisterous family of outcasts in this beautifully shot film by Van Sant. One day the two decide to travel to Italy, however the trip might just mark the end of their friendship.

PIERROT LE FOU (JEAN-LUC GODARD, 1965)

A film that plays with the idea of chance, Pierrot le Fou could have been the next chapter to Godard’s Breathless (1960). What’s more, the film’s stars, Anna Karina (Godard’s wife at the time) and Jean-Paul Belmondo, Form one of the sexiest onscreen couples of 1965.

WILD AT HEART (DAVID LYNCH, 1990)

This Palme d’Or-winning film is surreal and violently erotic. Saylor (Nicolas Cage) and Lula (Laura Dern) travel through Lynch’s land of fire, witches and fairies and encounter a splendid Willem Dafoe as the unforgettable Bobby Peru.
