Breathing new life into a rented space is a challenge. Painting parties are great, but then that favourite pair of Levi’s risks ruination. Vinyl wall stickers, however, go up in a three step process, and can be found for about €60 a piece. French brand Domestic specialises in quirky vinyls, while Q-esko Dissenys on the new Flor4u website are more high-end and stylish. L’Appartement in Eixample carries the myvinilo brand, which also sells its products on the web, giving customers the chance to play designer and create their own patterns. Created by graphic artists and designers from various backgrounds, the stickers are unconfined to wall spaces; this adhesive art can be stuck on anything from furniture, to floors, windows and ceilings.
