A concept from Gracia Arts Project showcasing and promoting 12 up-and-coming musicians.

This exciting concept from Gracia Arts Project aims to showcase and promote 12 up-and-coming musicians throughout 2010. Vital Musicians will consist of 12 musicians, 12 concerts and 12 downloads. Its aim is to capture the freshest, timeless music coming out of Barcelona.

Classical guitar, spoken word with rock and jazz, and folk-based bossa nova from Brazil are some of the first genres to be performed. On March 25th, Oliver Grimball will play at El Coleccionista. Promotion for the project via the strong artistbased GAP platform will see each musician receive a live studio recording – mixed and mastered by professional producer David Arthur Brown – an edited video from the in-studio recording, plus a gig booking. Followers of the project can download all the music for free from the video blog, as well as connect with the musicians and project on Facebook. Still on the lookout for more support and sponsors – promising heavy logo exposure at a low cost – those interested can contact GAP director Justin Donlon.

March 25th at 10pm
