Any female Catalunya residents out their with a finesse for radio art, here is your chance to have your sounds heard. GTS is asking for a sound piece lasting between 15 and 20 minutes, created for radio broadcast containing ideas on the notion of sound as the symbol of place and a community. Send the pieces to them at: Gràcia Territori Sonor, Apartat 9234, 08080 Barcelona along with a written synopsis of the work, brief biography and contact details.

The deadline is September 1, 2009. The entries will compete for a €500 prize and spot on one of GTS's radio programs. They will be judged by a jury made up of three GTS-ers and the winner will be also be posted on the group's webpage.

All composers and contest players are responsible for recording and mastering their work and will hold the rights to their compositions and authorize GTS's use of the piece on radio.
