Miniblog

Ta dum....here we are, sporting our fanciest pants, shoes shined and those pesky fly-away hairs gelled down for the debut of our new website and inauguration of the MiniBlog. Of course, as the saying goes " It takes a village to raise a child". We couldn't have come through with a colorful, bright and shiny new web and blog to share with all of you without the help of many. So, just some thank yous to start things off.

We'd like to thank the big chocolate manufacturers, you know them, Nestle, Hersheys and the like, as well as the chinese shop at the beginning of Balmes that offers cute packaged sweets, puffy foods and other treats that kept us sufficiently fueled. Red bull too helped out, as well as the man making all those delightful donuts at DD. Thanks to the cleaning woman who picked up after our messy selves and emptied cans overflowing with packages of the goods required to keep us going. Thanks to our office mates who suffered through our karaoke-style singing of pop tunes from the 80s and 90s as well as the odd rock out to the heavier stuff. Praise also to our intern team busily working away in our tiny quarters, our clients and web masters, and finally to our readers.

We hope this blog brings something new to your internet reading jaunts. More than just a collection of our observations traipsing around the town, we would really like this to be a forum of discussion and evolve into a blog beast of its own. We hope to delve into not only the good, but the bad, ugly and more of the city we call home in a playful, but informative way. We will of course post up tips on everything under the sun, as well as questions and look forward to feedback, opinions, and ideas from you of what you would like to know about, not know about, whatever. A kind of Dear Abbey meets city info blog, we guess.

And with that, let the blogging games begin.........and thanks again!
