You've certainly seen Improv Everywhere's antics: giant freeze tag games played in NYC's Grand Central Station and musicals performed in grocery stores to the surprise of passers-by. This Thursday they'll stage the first Spanish-language Mp3 experiment in BCN.

Improv Everywhere has been around in 2001, and was created by Charlie Todd. To date, the group that "causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places" has completed over 85 missions. Based in NYC, smaller branches of Improv Everywhere have come about throughout the world.

As part of ArtFutura 2009, Todd will be in town to talk about the groups activities and as the cheeky lad he is, to stage the first-ever Spanish-language Mp3 event. All are welcome to join in the improv fun, all you have to do is visit the ArtFutura site or Facebook, download the Mp3 (DON'T LISTEN, JUST SAVE), make sure your watch has a battery in good working condition, wear a bright yellow, blue, green or red shirt and go to the front of Arts Santa Monica, Rambla 7 on Thursday, October 29th a little before 6pm. At 6pm sharp, everyone will turn on their Mp3s and listen and follow the instructions they are given. This event will happen simultaneously in Madrid, Murcia and Vigo. After, the improvers will be invited to a cocktail at the opening reception for this year's ArtFutura.
