French artist Clara Claus starts with a recording of her heartbeart, gestures, breath… this “music of the body” is the muse for her creation of mixed media works combining bits of paper, wood and paint. These pieces, together with video art made in collaboration with video artist Natacha Ikolia, comprise Friction, an exhibit that opened on February 4th at the Espronceda art gallery. Joining Clara at the opening were her friends, flamenco guitarist Pedro Soler, violoncellist Gaspar Claus and flamenco singer Ines Bacán who presented their new album Serrana. The show runs through February 18th.
