    Afternoon tea at 4pm, a concept deeply ingrained in the psyche of any self-respecting English person, as sacred as cava and butifarra to a local Barcelonian ... but what to do afterwards? Well, finding an interesting shopping experience is always pretty high on the agenda. And since the runaway success of Flea Market and Lost&Found, “pop-up markets” have been appearing everywhere in the city.

    With the ongoing crisis, cafés, bars and restaurants seem more than happy to collaborate with local entrepreneurs to bring a few more customers through the door. A recent addition to the roster is the Happy Market by After Tea which will be held this month in the glamorous surroundings of the 19th century hotel Husa Oriente.

    After Tea is a mixture of both contemporary fashion designers selling their clothes, bags and jewelry and those with carefully selected vintage items. You’ll also find illustrators, photographers and other artists vying their wares as well as a DJ to enhance the ambience.
