Now in its fifth cycle, Festival Ulls returns on October 5th with five days' worth of diverse cultural events taking place at locations across the city. Both international and interdisciplinary, this year Ulls is focusing on cultural and artistic connections between Europe and Latin America, and will see a host of artists, dancers, writers, actresses and even clowns from both sides of the Atlantic forming part of the exciting program of free events.

Among the artists featured will be Panamanian ballerina Ela Spalding, Dominican dance troupe Ballet Roto, Italian-Mexican author Giovanna Cavasola, funk group Suprafonicos and Argentinean actress Fernanda Pérez Bodria with her version of Catalan author Mercè Rodoreda's La Plaza del Diamante. Also including talks, workshops, kids' events, music from Barcelona indie-rock band The Destroyed Room and much more, this innovative festival serves to introduce the public to exciting new artists from across the globe, without costing them a penny.
