Renowned as a master of France's street art scene and founding member of the influential MAC collective, graffiti artist Cyril Phan – better known as Kongo – has now found a rather unlikely partner: prestigious French fashion house Hermès.

Kongo recently collaborated with the label to create Hermès Graff by Kongo, a range of silk scarves decorated with lively tag-style patterns for their Fall 2011 collection, of which part of the proceeds will provide support for young artists through Kongo's collective Kosmopolis.

The artist has now been given carte blanche to reinvent the window displays of the Hermès branch on Passeig de Gràcia, creating a unique artistic installation exclusively for Barcelona. On display from October 10th to 23rd, this one-off project will again see the worlds of high fashion and street art collide – an unorthodox combination, perhaps, but one that is set to produce exciting and colorful results.
