Beginning with a nighttime race through Sevilla, the three-week course will lead competitors across the peninsula, moving through Marbella, Malaga, Murcia and more, before arriving in Catalunya halfway through the circuit. On September 7th, the riders will head out from Tarragona and make a stop, for the first time in the competition’s history, in Vilanova i la Geltrú. This seaside town, only 40km from Barcelona, provides a perfect point to catch the cyclists in action before they move on to Andorra on September 8th. With 29 wins among them, Spanish cyclists have more victories under their belts than any other country – let’s see if they can make it 30 – as they challenge their competitors to the finish line in Madrid on September 19th.
