The festivities of Sants begin on the 21st, after a speech by the famous actress, Amparo Moreno, held in the Parque de la España Industrial. On Sunday, jazz music will fill the streets of the neighborhood with The Susan Sheiman/Jazzcare 4 Project-five musicians who have taken over Europe with their unique interpretation of classic jazz. On Monday the 23rd, the Barcelona based band, Delafé y Las Flores Azules, bring their pop and hip-hop melodies followed by Catalan rumba by Les Estrelles de Gràcia on Tuesday. The “Castellers” (human tower building) will close the festival on August 29th at the Parque de la España Industrial, bringing an end to the wonderful festivals of Gràcias and Sants for the year.
