November sees another world-class roster of DJs lined up to play Razzmatazz. This month's highlights include a set by Rio de Janeiro DJs João Miguel and Luciano Oliveira, better known as The Twelves. The Brazilian duo blew up the online indie scene back in 2007 with their remix of M.I.A's album track Boyz, quickly becoming a firm favorite on The Hype Machine and a testament to the power of the blogosphere. Since then they've had phenomenal success both online and on stage, famed for their unique reworkings of songs by Metric, Two Door Cinema Club, Radiohead, Nirvana and many more. They've also renovated some old pop classics, adding an energetic club vibe to songs such as A-Ha's Take On Me and The Beatles' Eleanor Rigby – indeed, it seems almost everyone has received The Twelves treatment, and often their songs end up all the better for it.

Due to play Razzmatazz on November 12th, The Twelves will be joined by Dutch electro musician Danny Wolfers, or Legowelt. Drawing inspiration from countless worldwide trends and sounds, Legowelt has created a musical hybrid he describes as “slam jack combined with deep Chicago house, romantic ghetto technofunk and EuroHorror Soundtrack.” Very unusual but often oddly mesmerizing, his is a style impossible to pin down. Also a producer, radio presenter and owner of Strange Life Records, Legowelt is a true techno connoisseur. Since the release of his first album in 1998, he has played all over the world, collaborated with some of the biggest names in European techno and built up a truly formidable discography of addictive electro club tracks. With almost 15 years in the business, this guy clearly knows what he's doing.
