Russian ballet companies are renowned and constantly showered with floral bouquets and ovations for their incredible discipline, skill and grace. It would only be fitting for another company to pay hommage to their history. The Liceu is welcoming the English National Ballet to perform snippets from Ballets Russes’s classics like Schéhérazade. Emerging in 1909, the Russian co. shook things up by mixing classic and contemporary elements of dance, visual arts and music.
