To begin with, Fran, the well-known former chef of La Reina del Raval, prepares the food. He cooks up Mediterranean specialties, including pallea and lets his creativity flow in putting together the specials for their menu, which changes depending on the season. Fall will be filled with dishes featuring mushrooms from the Boquería. Fran also gains inspiration for his plates from the fresh fish delivered daily by Miriam, a local resident coming from a family of fishermen. And at around €6 for most dishes, they are more than a bargain. Meals can be enjoyed to the tune of live music or spun tracks.

From Tuesday to Saturday host resident DJ Fred Guzzo (of Café Royale fame) mixes jazz, funk, soul, Latin, R&B and more after 11pm. To top it all off, the chic surroundings complete the package. Renowned Catalan interior designer Francesc Pons decorated the two-floor bar/restaurant with steel and glass complemented by urban photography of New York and Barcelona by DJ Matrona to finish off the sleek look. Get down on the dance floor at Wednesday´s special after work party from 7pm-11pm featuring DJs starting at 7pm and free ‘pica pica’ (appetizer) buffet for those who buy drinks or wind down on the weekend with a relaxing lunch.
