Barcelona walking tours to remember.

Citywalks have devised a duo of walking tours of Barcelona which use a combination of storytelling and sightseeing to enable visitors to explore the city streets at their own pace. With the aid of an MP3 player and two comprehensive maps, the city walker is all set for the two tours – Modernist and Gothic – each designed to take about two and a half hours.

    The Modernist option is a comprehensive route which weaves a historical narrative as it takes in the famous Gaudi sites of the Eixample, recommending restaurants, plazas and bars along the way. Meanwhile, the Barri Gòtic tour navigates the maze-like streets of the old quarter to dramatic effect, telling listeners of the lore and myth hidden behind ancient facades and doorways.

    The tour packs, available in English, Spanish, French, German and Italian, cost just €10, and can be picked up at the CicloTour office or downloaded from the Internet.

      I made this tour with my friend and we both liked it cause Gothic is kinda difficult to explore and you could miss a lot of interesting stuff.
