CYNTHIA FUSILLO
A new series that encompasses the creation process, showing human experience and sensual connection to the world through texture, organic form and the written word. Cynthia’s approach is intuitive and experimental. Materials such as dirt, leaves, sticks, shells, ashes, and flowers seduce her. Each figure, bowl, and shoe has a story to tell. The alchemy of nature and spirit invokes a sense of self- reflection. See her exhibition from February 15th to April 15th at Art Nights BCN, C/Calders, 3 bajos (Born). www.cynthiafusillo.com

SALA VINÇON
Built in 1899 by architect Antoni Rovira i Rabassa, the Vinçon space is part of the city’s architectural heritage. The first exhibition was held in the 1940s and since then more than 300 exhibitions have been displayed in the space. Through the months of February and March you can enjoy an exhibition from Carmelo Hernando—this marks his second show with Vinçon and his oil paintings with strong political undertones will definitely spark some conversation. Passeig de Gracia, 96 (Eixample). www.vincon.com
