Not new to the DJ scene – he was the resident DJ at La Paloma – his name became more prevalent after repeatedly playing Sónar and mixing the album for the Monegros festival in 2007. Check him out at BeCool, warming up the crowd for mega-stars like Eddie Flashin Fowlkes. He’s on the Barcelona label Hit Kune Do and is part of the Visitor collective.
Christian Len
Of course, if we are going to mention BeCool, then we have to talk about this young DJ and radio host from Barcelona. Known for his strong convictions and diligence on the job, he not only spins indie and pop in the
upper room of the club on Plaça Joan Llongueras but is also the editorial director at scannerFM.
John Talabot
He doesn’t DJ, he only produces, and no one quite knows who he is. One of the best kept secrets in Barcelona, he just signed a deal to make an album with the label Permanent Vacation. In the future he plans on playing
live. Will he do it masked?
Toner
Another DJ growing under BeCool’s shelter. From Tarragona, Toner is a lifesaver in the world of disco, house, IDM, electro and anything else that soothes the ear. The future of Barcelona is in good hands.
