Dubstep and drum 'n' bass DJs recommended by Plat du Jour's Clare Considine Clare Considine

Recommendations come from Plat du Jour's Clare Considine (C-Shell).

DJ Tuffist

DJ Tuffist is an essential player on the Barcelona dubstep scene. His high energy, mayhem-inducing B.Low nights at Razzmatazz have garnered quite a following, with DJ Tuffist and crew bringing exciting, high-profile DJs from labels such as DMZ, Punch Drunk and Big Apple to the decks. Check out Tuffist for a dubstep sound that takes its influences from jungle right through to old-school hip-hop.

DJ Refold

DJ Refold is a British DJ and producer that has been making waves in Barcelona with his unique brand of soulful drum ‘n’ bass. This is the sort of girl-friendly and complex sound that ensures the genre is still relevant. Relatively new to the party scene, DJ Refold played at the big Joon Ripple party (house, techno and dubstep) in June and well and truly ripped it up.
