Illustrator Aleksandra Kopoff delves into the world of a family's home through a pet's perspective. Carey Zamarriego

If you’ve ever been to Como me ves, te verás, then you know it’s the spot in the city for kitsch Mexican home art goods, including bejeweled boxes with the faces of famous Lucha Libre fighters on top. A place bursting with color and a sense of humor, their exhibition over December and January by Warsaw-born illustrator Aleksandra Kopff, delivers the same devilishly fun energy. Kopff came to Barcelona in 2001 to study illustration, lived for a bit in Salamanca and has displayed her works in funky BCN gallery spots such as Miscelänea. With her exhibition Family Dog, she looks at the sometimes scary inner-world of a family’s home – where both the best and worst of humankind comes out – from the point of view of its obedient pet.
