A hip rock 'n' roll bar with good tunes, good food and good times.

From the famous Jimi Hendrix track, this watering hole set up by a group of friends attracts a diverse crowd. A mix of locals and people in the music and design scene, as well as newcomers looking for a city spot to call their regular joint, fill up the laidback rocker spot. With ample room to hang out, host a rockstar bday bash, listen to great tunes and chat with the staff – who could teach musicology 101 – it’s no wonder that word of mouth is quickly spreading, making this the go-to place for tunes, eats and drinks.

Jessica, formerly of Sidecar, and music industry alum, Marc, worked with Mireia and Martín from brand space design company Setmaker to create a bold, red, pulsating interior space. Constantly mixing things up, these late night pros get additional help from Sergio, aka El Capitán – he’s an actual ship captain – in creating new offers for customers.

Marc is the music coordinator and handpicks the DJs who spin anything from Hendrix, to sounds from the 70s, 80s, 90s and modern rock each night after 11pm. Fridays are especially about the rock, with the guys from Ovni supplying the musical sets for their Happy 90’s party. Rockstöre, their Saturday night party, features bizzarock and DJ Marian_O, along with invited guests. Saturday night is also sushi made-to-order night.

By day, the place is buzzing with people with a healthy appetite for music, as well as food. Sitting in the sun of one of their terrace tables, their new midday chef preps Mediterranean market cuisine and much more. Diners enjoy sandwiches, including veggie options with something special, like the warm, fresh bread, and creamy Brie, tapas, thick burgers and gourmet frankfurts. They have a special midday menu ticket promotion for June, buy two and get the third for free. If on the go, get it all to take home, or use their delivery service.

Locals, rockers and those looking for a place to call on for their regular drink fix, come in packs for the extra large sized mojitos and caipirinhas, smooth strawberry daiquiris and of course, the spot’s signature cocktail, the Foxy Lady, as well as the rocking Happy Hour, daily from 5pm-10pm. The hospitable joint gives a tapita (a small snack) with each drink, too.

**This just in: enjoy 2 x 1 crepes Wednesdays at Foxy Lady during the month of June. **
