A look into Uruguay´s lush landscape through photographs by Catalan travelers. Carey Zamarriego

A group of Catalan travelers share their photographic account of a journey through the incredibly lush landscape of one of South America’s smallest nations. Organized by Asociación Porta-Cultural and in collaboration with MAOC (Musicultural Asociación Oriental en Catalunya), Carolina, Carlos, Juan Carlos, Javier and José Luis seek to transmit the sights and sensations of the country through their shots. To celebrate the exhibition, a free sample of the national drink, mate, will be served to visitors on opening night. A caffeinated beverage made from steeping dried leaves of yerba mate in hot water, it has got one powerful taste that mixes green tea and coffee flavors.
