Not your mama’s fashion show. This open-minded catwalk puts the spotlight on independent designers. Organized by the Altasecuencia collective, they are offering a mix of fashion, theatre, dance, music, animation and art. The original collections of Lupe Giraldo, children’s clothing designer Olga Resines, and accessories innovator Alais Villanueva, among more will give the audience a fresh take on fashion. To break between designers, theatre performers like Joaquín Daniel and animated shorts will uniquely entertain fashion followers. After the show, designers won’t speed away to exclusive parties in town. Instead, they’ll display their collections, sell wares and meet with fashion show-goers.
