Tagged as the British version of the Devil Wears Prada – swap the female protagonist for a male one and fashion mag for a celebrity rag – it topped the British box-office last fall, much to the chagrin of critics. Sidney Young (Simon Pegg from the new Star Trek) loves and loathes the celebrity world. He works at a magazine that mocks the frivolity of fame. Young is taken aback when offered a job at a Manhattan magazine devoted to celebrity dish after editor Clayton Harding (Jeff Bridges) takes a liking to his offbeat ways.
