This time round, Le Kasbah has added a string to its bow, with a new menu boasting Arabic and Asian influences, offering tapas, appetizers, chapata sandwiches, salads, and mains like teriyaki chicken or wok fried salmon and vegetables. The gourmet cheeseburger, nachos, and fried yuca with cheese come highly recommended. Friday sees a special sushi menu crafted by Cristian, former head chef at Fusion Sushi.
Le Kasbah’s outdoor terrace by the port is good for warm afternoons; on cooler evenings, patrons head inside to the Moroccan lounge where chilled beats pick up the pace as the night wears on. Kick back with one their shisha pipes, sampling tobacco flavors like mint and apple. The cocktails are creative, with variations like the Dragon Mojito (with ginger), Black Caipiroska (with black vodka) and Dry Apple Martini – good first drinks before hitting one of the nearby Marina Village nightclubs.
