Petty crime runs rampant in every city, and Barcelona is by no means exempt. There is an uncomfortable intrigue though that makes us want to know more about this ‘profession’. Juvenile delinquency and petty crime peaked in Spain during the 70s and 80s. This sparked a film revolution that glorified the era. Spanish directors like Jose Antonio de la Loma produced works reflecting the mythification of petty crime players. Film screenings, photographs and more make up this audio-visual montage dedicated to those gritty times.
