Complete with its own theme song, “Aggay Road” (a silly, danceable, multilingual tune by The Chanclettes), the festival will host free events including parties, film screenings, conferences and art exhibitions celebrating diversity and tolerance at venues across the city. As with last year, the main event will be the parade. The colorful procession will set off from Plaça Universitat and march along Carrer Sepúlveda before arriving at Avinguda María Cristina for a free party and an impressive closing ceremony at the Montjuïc Fountains. Open to everyone – even children have a special kiddie play area near Plaça Espanya – Pride Barcelona is set to deliver 10 days of top entertainment in an electric atmosphere.
