    The Graduate (1967)

What is Dustin Hoffman doing with a scuba suit on in the pool? The Graduate is without a doubt the American Beauty of its time. A film classic and cult favorite, including the soundtrack “ooooooh Mrs. Robinson...”

    La Piscine (1969)

French film noir with an all-star cast including Alain Delon, Romy Scneider (who were a couple years before) and a very young Jane Birkin. A dramatic masterpiece and perfect representation of the St. Tropez “la dolce vita” vibe of the time.

     Swimming Pool (2003)

Ambiguity permeates this psychological drama-cum-suspense film. An acting duel between Charlotte Rampling and Ludivine Sagnier and on-screen battle between woman and ‘Lolita’, lover and daughter, and ultimately, reality and fiction.

    The Swimmer (1969)

Ned Merrill (Burt Lancaster) attempts to recapture his past during the summer. Perry dropped out of the project over ‘creative differences’, leaving director Sidney Pollack to finish the work. For many, it is the greatest pool flick of all time.
