Everything at this small boutique, opened by several designer friends at the end of 2008, is hand made and locally produced. The owners are the creative force behind Efecto Limón, which fashion vividly colored A-line miniskirts, handbags and accessories entirely from a single, long piece of zipper. This innovative punk-tinged brand has been featured on blogs and even the New York Times as well as recently spotted on actress Rossy de Palma and band Ojos de Brujo.
The space also doubles as a workshop whose designers will custom fit pieces to order. Other local designers on offer include Esthel Davet, Moriche, Brigitte Hübner, Luka, Short Storie and Angela Cunillera with clothing, bags, accessories and more. The shop’s name means “sun” in Esperanto and, true to its name, has a warm, Mediterranean vib.
