One of our favorite places is called Resolis (C/ Reira Baixa, 22). It's a 3-minute walk from MACBA (Sonar by Day).

Watching Yasunao Tone making weird noises in 2001 while he was smoking big cigars. Really impressive!

Granja M. Viader (C/ de Xuclà) - granjas are like Spanish cafés. Its really old and charming. It's where they invented chocolate milk! We always bring our friends from abroad there.

K**O is a lynchpin of the Barcelona music scene. A master chameleon, he can turn his hand to a number of genres – ensuring that he is a regular feature at the city's best club nights. Tom Dodd
Tom Dodd is one of the promoters of Plat du Jour. Living in Barcelona for nearly three years, he has gained a sterling reputation for organising some of Barcelona's most forward-thinking, raucous and downright dirty parties. Look out for his Off-Sonar extravaganza.

Then for pure fun I'll be bouncing to Dizzee Rascal. HOLIDAYYYY! That is a must.

There's a little kebab shop - Bismilla Kababish (C/ Joaquin Costa, 22) where they make their own naan bread in a charcoal oven next to spits. The queue is worth it and it's right next to Sonar by day! Perfect for cheap eats.

M.I.A. & Diplo during their early days - she had such energy on stage, he looked lost. Great show though!

La Plata (C/ Mercé, 28) for their silver anchovies of joy and glory.

To a roof top in town. This means befriending a local resident (which shouldn't be too difficult!).
One of Scanner FM's top DJs, Global Souljah is all about bringing soulfully eclectic sounds to the people of Barcelona with his crew at BBE Records. Recently launching his music consultancy business, Audiotexture, he constantly has music on his mind.

Jimi Tenor and Kabu Kabu (swap the geeks with laptops for some funky Africans and a geek with a keyboard who can sing) and Robert Koch because I've really enjoyed his productions this year and want to show him some love.
- Where's a good place to eat during the Sónar weekend?
Sol Soler (Plaza del Sol, 21). Getting out of the center will do you some good, the tapas here are well priced and tasty, get a table in the lively plaza if available if not check the noisy, smoky, informal Spanish vibe inside.
- What is your all time favorite Sónar flashback?
Organizing my first pre-Sónar party with Bonobo, rocking it big time to a full house in a ropey, old, heavy metal venue with a crucifix on the back wall and a pentagram light shade.
- What is your favorite Barcelona gem?
Taking the funicular up to Montjuïc from the Poble Sec Metro and then collapsing on the grass with a picnic and bottle of wine in the nicely landscaped park behind the exit. Peace, quiet, nice views and you don't get a sandy crack.
- Where's good to head for the after party action?
Grab someone you fancy and get naked with them.
