A music recommendation from Hoytocoyo, Barcelona's platform for emerging bands.
Bet you didn't think that working in a bank could inspire you to write such unique music, did ya? Coming from Mallorca and Menorca, The Bankers started out in 2006 playing Franz Ferdinand and Adam Green covers. Soon they found themselves writing their own material, which alternates between tropical garage and surreal rockabilly. They are working intensely on their first album and are definitely ones to watch!
