Love it or hate it, it’s nearly here, Valentine’s Day. Not traditionally celebrated in Catalunya, the festival often goes unnoticed. However Marc Curcio of The Gangsters of Love has come up with a novel way to embrace the day with a party for both the lovers and haters amongst us. Calling it Valentines Massacre, Marc’s intention is to honor the British-American tradition without any of its cheesy associations. “We want to celebrate the holiday but because it’s not a festival here we made it an anti-Valentine’s Day party, so the Catalan and Spanish can feel part of it too,” he explains.
