Zeppelin '09 brings together a series of sound art that reflects our shrinking private world. Ayesha Pirbhai

We are all naked—at least in a theoretical sense. As the Internet gains popularity, our privacy is slowly disappearing. Based on this notion, Zeppelin ‘09. Sounds of Power/Listening to Fear brings together a series of sound art that reflects our shrinking private world. The socially and politically driven festival – part of Sonoscop – has used themes of control and power in the past to produce strong, emotionally charged sound works. This year’s events will include various concerts, like State of the Sea, featuring ocean sounds, roundtable talks, including a discussion about submission with Miquel Morey and a chat about loss of voice with Jorge Larrossa, in addition to installations. Go deeper into the beat and explore the multiple realms of meaning.
