Customize Your Maska Fox

Screen printing dates back a thousand years to China. The technique involves the application of ink through a stencil on a mesh screen to print an image onto the surface below, and gained prominence thanks to Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe portraits.
In recent years it has enjoyed a renaissance, and Print Workers is at the vanguard. The space combine a coworking area, printing workshop, art gallery and shop under one roof. The founders call it the country’s first print club, a hub for creatives infusing coworking with a DIY spirit. Their most recent event is an exhibition and competition Customize Your Maska Fox that opened on February 13th.
Last December, they hosted Barcelona’s first screen printing market; an exhibition on the thriving Dutch scene and a DIY Christmas card workshop ran alongside it. The market’s title is the club’s rallying cry: “Give print a chance!”
