Since it was first introduced in 1995, JavaScript has become the dominant programming language of the Internet. Being an open language supported by every web browser means that anyone can execute and create JavaScript programs.

Its growing ubiquity makes MediterráneaJS, taking place on June 22nd and 23rd, a can’t miss event for the tech community. The packed agenda, organized by BarcelonaJS, begins with a range of workshops on Saturday while the next day’s leisure activities ensure attendees can enjoy the best of Barcelona before the main event on Monday and Tuesday.

Two days of talks from 24 engineers, developers and entrepreneurs are scheduled for the conference, covering everything in the JavaScript world from metaprogramming and game developing to disaster detection.
