In Atlas of the Future’s first event, British futurologist Mark Stevenson will take us take us on an optimistic tour of the future and the challenges humankind faces.

The bestselling author of An Optimist’s Tour of the Future, Stevenson will address such important topics as curing cancer, the biotech revolution, robots, nanotechnology, climate change, space travel, the future of the Internet and the population explosion.

Stevenson is currently writing his second book, We Do Things Differently: Travels on the Cutting Edge of Change and serves on the advisory board of Atlas, a new venture whose mission is to raise the profiles of the people and projects working to create a better world. Maybe we’re not all fucked after all.
