Argentine-Cuban partners, a Catalan chef, ‘50s Paris design, London dry gin, Thai curry and black music – this could only have been born out of the Raval. It lies on the other side of the Ronda, so technically it’s Sant Antoni, but its soul is all 08001.
Founders Fede and Alex, the duo behind the Ultramarinos gin ‘n’ tonic bar, opened up this restaurant and cocktail bar last year, fusing what they love with sensibility and craft. The seasonal menu features dishes meant to be shared. Chef Isaac’s specialties include Sant Pau beans & squid, smashed eggs & chorizo and Panang curry. Fish and vegetarian options abound.
