This jeweller, based in the city’s historic Encants market, aims to take the anxiety out of gem shopping. On April 15the at 5pm, the shop’s second-generation owner, Elisenda, leads a free course on what to look for when buying a diamond.
The shop specializes in vintage jewelry, selling rings, earrings, necklaces and watches made with diamonds and other precious stones. The display cases serve as a jewelry museum, with pieces divided by era – many date to the early 19th century. The prices are fair, with gold bought and sold by weight.
The shop also offers less expensive pieces from €30 made with with semiprecious stones such as amethysts, turquoise or pearls. They also design and repair pieces.
